Indians are the third largest illegal immigrant group after residents of Mexico and Salvador. In the last one year, 113,431 people were arrested by ICE. Which is 34 percent less than the 1,70,590 arrests made last year. ICE can’t focus on making arrests inside the country because it needs more enforcement at the border with Mexico.

America’s refugee resettlement program had allowed refugees to arrive before January 27, but the Trump administration has canceled the entire travel plan. Due to this, thousands of destitute people are stranded in different places of the world.
The executive order signed by US President Donald Trump on Monday also ordered the closure of the refugee resettlement program. Because of this, these desperate people will now have to go through a long process for permission to come to America. Earlier, these desperate people were allowed to come till 27th. Now emails reveal that the US agency that oversees refugee processing has told staff and stakeholders that the refugee program in the US has been suspended until further notice.
