IndiGo Airlines, India’s largest airline, has recently been in the limelight for the wrong reasons. Many of its passengers have registered their indignance over the way the airline has left its passengers helpless on some occasions.
In another instance continuing with the said trend, a passenger to X to share their travail while travelling with the airline.
Flight Preponed By 2 hours?
An X user by the name Prakhar Gupta took to X and shared his abstruse experience of a flight preponement. In his post, addressing IndiGo, he said, “Dear @IndiGo6E. How do you change a flight time and PREPONE it, 2.5 hours before the flight at 4 AM in the morning, expect me to make it on time, and then when I do get there 5 minutes behind on the NEW TIME , you do not let me check in my bag and make me pay for a new flight?”
Gupta claimed that he received no prior intimation from the airline through any of the official and legitimate sources, may it be WhatsApp or E-mail. He, however, did receive a message just a couple of hours before the flight left, as per its changed timings.
Gupta further added, “There has to be some sanity in flying in this country. Flight providers cannot whimsically play with people’s times and lives without us being compensated, and more so without making us pay more for their errors. This is a violation of any reasonable terms of service.”
Rude Staff
“Needless to say, your staff was rude to me and my co passenger, accusing us of filming when we were not filming, because I politely asked them the same question- How could they change flight time 2 hours before a flight and charge me extra.”, Gupta added
Gupta also claimed that the staff was unprofessional, distasteful, and accused them of being obscene.
IndiGo’s Response
Reacting to this post, IndiGo’s official X account replied to the post.
