One day a girl came and complained that she felt pain during intercourse. When I asked her if her husband had come, she said that she was not married. Hearing this, I did not ask many questions and prescribed the medicine.

After a few days, another girl came, who told that she was 27 years old. She had stomach pain and tests revealed that her uterus was swollen. When asked in detail, she told that she had been taking pills like I-pill for a long time.

She admitted that she takes about two I-pills every week. I was shocked to hear this. When I asked her to call her boyfriend, she got scared, but when I insisted she called him. The boy was only in 12th class, and the girl herself was only 17 years old, while she had declared her age to be 27.

Investigation revealed that the girl had many health problems due to the side effects of these pills. Her uterus had to be removed and she would never be able to become a mother again.

This incident shocked me. I asked her how she decided to take the I-Pill, and she said she was inspired by TV commercials and what her friends said. Even after using a condom, he took this medicine out of fear.

I don’t know who is to blame for this – the advertisements that promote such drugs, the web series and porn films, our education system that does not talk openly about sex education, the hotel owners that allow minors to stay there. or the modern mother who is busy with her phone.

That 12th class girl lost her uterus even after treatment. Now she can never become a mother.

Being a doctor, I appeal to all of you to spread this story to as many people as possible. We should talk openly about these topics with the girls in our family. Awareness is the solution to this problem.
