America Europe Concern: With Donald Trump becoming President in America, a new era has started in Europe. Having learned from the poor international relations during Trump’s first term, European countries are now worried that they may face similar situations again.

Donald Trump’s policies are different

The World Economic Forum conference is being seen as an attempt to cover up Trump’s uncertainty. The EU also formed a task force to assess the US policies set by Donald Trump and their impact.

In fact, European countries fear that Trump may do it again, just as he had kept America out of many international agreements during his previous tenure. Europe’s biggest fear is that Trump may change America’s role in the Ukraine war and impose trade sanctions on European countries.

Trump is ready to talk to the European Union and its leaders

However, the leaders of this country are ready to discuss with Donald Trump to protect the interests of the EU. But they don’t know that it is difficult to argue with Trump.

Trump bans immigration from four countries including Cuba, Haiti

As soon as he assumed the post of President of America, Donald Trump has shown strictness regarding immigration. The Biden administration allowed immigrants from four crisis-hit countries to temporarily stay in the US. Donald Trump has ended it.

The policy, known as humanitarian parole, was implemented by the Biden administration in 2023. Under this, immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela were allowed to enter the US, provided they had a financial sponsor and passed security checks. Under this policy, immigrants entering America can stay for two years.

By the end of last year, more than 500,000 immigrants had entered the US through this initiative. Trump ordered the head of the Department of Homeland Security to end this policy.

Army will be used to evacuate migrants- Trump

On the other hand, Trump can use the military for immigration enforcement i.e. to expel illegal immigrants. He signed an executive order on Monday that makes border security a priority for the military. The directive could allow U.S. troops to take a more direct role in immigration enforcement.
