Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): An interactive session to encourage investment in Madhya Pradesh is all set to be held on January 22 at Hotel Ritz Carlton, Pune. The session, led by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, aims to engage directly with industry leaders and investors while highlighting the state’s investor-friendly environment.
Over ₹4 lakh crore worth of investment proposals have already been received. This session is part of preparations for the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal on February 24 and 25, which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to information, prominent industry figures, including Mr. Sanjay Kirloskar, Chairman of Kirloskar Brothers Limited, and Dr. Abhay Firodia, Chairman of Force Motors, are expected to participate. Mr. Sudhir Mehta, Chairman of Pinnacle Industries, will host a networking dinner. Discussions will also feature Mr. Hiroshi Yoshizawa, Managing Director of Bridgestone India Private Limited.
The session will focus on sectors like fintech, IT, agritech, food processing, pharma, healthcare, electric vehicles, and tourism. Key state officials, including Mr. Raghavendra Kumar Singh and Ms. Bidisha Mukherjee, will outline opportunities in industrial and tourism investments. Earlier sessions in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore have strengthened investor confidence in investing in the state. The Regional Industry Conclaves have been a successful project run by the state government.
