Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The BJP’s Central leadership may pitch in to stop squabbling in the party. The party’s national leadership may quell resentment among the BJP leaders after the election of the state unit president.

According to sources, party’s state in-charge Mahendra Singh, national co-organisational general secretary Shivprrakash and regional organisational general secretary Ajay Jamwal may be asked to quell the internal fighting. There is strife between minister from Bundelkhand Govind Singh Rajput and former minister Bhupendra Singh.

Legislators in Vindhya region are also squabbling among themselves. A legislator from Sidhi Riti Pathak has opened a front against Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla. Former Speaker Girish Gautam and legislator Pradeep Patel have also locked horns.

A wrangle between legislators Narendra Prajapati and Siddharth Tiwari was about to break out recently. Both are not on good terms. Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar and the supporters of central minister Jyotiraditya Scindia are at loggerheads.

There are reports that internal strife in the party led to the defeat of Ramniwas Rawat in the assembly by-election. The fight between these two groups intensified after the defeat in the election.

After the election of the party’s district unit presidents, the internal fight has deepened.

The leaders whose supporters could not become district unit presidents are waiting for the election of the state unit president. Internal strife in the party may build up after the election. The wrangle among the leaders in Malwa and Nimar regions has also intensified after the election of the district unit presidents.

According to sources, the BJP leaders are complaining against one another to their party leadership in Delhi. The central leaders are also waiting for the election of the party’s state unit president. Afterwards, the leadership will work out a plan to control resentment among the state leaders.

Resentment will be quelled through adjustments

The party leaders will be adjusted in different places to stop the internal strife in the party. Some leaders will be given positions in the government. Some of the legislators who have not been given a berth in the cabinet may be adjusted in corporations and boards.
