Jaipur: In a shocking incident, a fight broke out during the farewell party for the class 12 students at SMS School in Rajasthan’s Jaipur. The incident was caught on camera and the video of the incident has gone viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that some students are attacking another student. The onlookers did not intervene and stop the fight, however, they kept on recording the incident on their mobile phones.
Details About The Incident
The brawl erupted at the farewell function organised by the SMS School in Jaipur. There are reports that the school administration has said that the students involved in the fight were not current students of the school. They explained that some students who had failed in the 11th grade were expelled earlier. These expelled students barged into the premises to attend the farewell party. When a current student confronted them, they started fighting. The youngster was brutally thrashed by the expelled students at the party.
The viral video shows that an argument erupted between two students who seen dressed in suits. One of the students catch the other student’s throat as the argument escalates. He then pushes him towards other students accompanied with him. They start beating the student who reportedly confronted them for attending the party. They can be seen kicking and slapping the student repeatedly in front of the other students.
However, no one step forward and help him, however, they recorded the incident and made the video viral on social media. The students are seen hitting the student near the buffet table at the party. The expelled student is seen slapping the other student repeatedly after which a female student intervenes and stops him. The youngster is seen standing in the video with both his hands on his head after being thrashed at the party.
Police Action
There are reports that no police action has been taken in connection with the matter. The school administration has said that the victim’s parents have not filed any complaint regarding the incident. Also, no police case has been registered so far in connection with the viral video.
Lack of Security
There are reports that the administration admitted that no security arrangements were made for the farewell party. Even during the fight, school staff and security guards did not intervene. The brawl caused panic and chaos at the event.
The school has distanced itself from the incident, but the lack of security and supervision raises serious concerns.
