needs of working women

Some of the important things for working women are: fair salary, safe workplace, healthy environment, and easy commute from home to office. However, only a select few cities in India meet this criteria. A recent study conducted by workplace consulting company Avtaar Group has revealed that the condition of working women is better in the cities of South India as compared to North India. In this list of 25 cities across the country, Delhi is ranked eighth, while Bengaluru is first, Chennai is second, Hyderabad is third and Mumbai is fourth. Cities like Pune and Coimbatore are also better in this matter.

In the cities of North India, where the number of working women is high, transportation is not safe and easy. They have to travel long distances in crowded buses, autos, and trains. Some offices do not have separate toilets for women, due to which they face difficulty during their periods. Apart from this, women who step out of the house also have to face taunts and atrocities from the grooms. Although the situation has improved, women are still not completely safe and satisfied.

For this it is necessary that women themselves come forward with their demands. They should meet the MLAs of their area and present their views and continuously raise their voice for change in the society. Society also has to understand that every woman has the right to education and livelihood, just like men have.

Benefits of green tea

The market for green tea has grown rapidly in the last few years, and many studies have proven that it can be helpful in weight loss and increasing immunity. According to a study recently published in “Nature Portfolio General Science of Food”, consuming green tea can reduce the risk of dementia by 33 percent. The study involved 8,766 participants, and found that people who consumed two or more cups of green tea or coffee a day had increased brain function and improved memory.
