Former Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal, in a social media post on Monday, raised concerns over increasing incidents of attacks on Indian nationals abroad and urged the Centre’s attention on the issue.
Taking to X, Kejriwal reacted to the news related to the killing of an Indian man in the US and said, “This news is extremely saddening. In the past few months, several incidents have come to light where the youth of our country have been killed abroad. This is a matter of grave concern. The lack of a robust education system and opportunities is forcing our youth to go abroad.”
“If we provide quality education and better opportunities to our youth within India, they will not feel the need to leave the country. I urge the central government to address this issue immediately,” he added.
