Who is Ajit Doval?
Ajit Doval was born on 20 January 1945 in a Garhwali family in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. He received his early education at Ajmer Military School and obtained a master’s degree in Economics from Agra University. Doval is a 1968 batch IPS officer and has served in the Kerala cadre. But his real identity was that of India’s most skilled intelligence officer. His father’s name is Gunandan Doval. He was a high ranking officer in the army. After 4 years of service in the police, he was inducted into India’s intelligence agency, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) in 1972.
