Actress and Bigg Boss OTT contestant Uorfi Javed, known for her active presence on social media, recently revealed that she climbed 400 steps to reach a Lord Shiva temple in Rajasthan. Taking to her official Instagram account, Uorfi gave a glimpse of her temple visit and expressed gratitude. Soon after she shared the post, netizens were all praise for Uorfi.
The fashionista visited Rajasthan’s Kambeshwar Mahadev Temple in Sheoganj. In the visuals, she can be seen in a traditional Indian outfit, a blue and white lehariya suit.
In one of the photos, she is seen seeking blessings inside the temple. Another now-viral video shows her climbing the temple steps, praying in front of the deity, and making offerings at the havan kund.
“Climbed 400 stairs to this Shiv Mandir,” she captioned the post.
Soon after she posted the videos and photos from the temple, a section of social media users were left surprised.
A user commented, “One more reason why I like Urfi is that she is very neutral and practical. Religion koi bhi ho she respects good things and criticises forced rules and customs.”

Uorfi also received hate from a few users who criticised her for the temple visit, which is against her religion. “Muslim wali koi b adat isky andar nai ha. Issy acha ye non Muslim hoti,” a comment read.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Uorfi was seen as a mentor in Playground, a reality web series. She recently opened up about her life and gave an insight about her professional life in her show Follow Karlo Yaar. The actress has also been a part of shows like Puncch Beat Season 2, Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, Meri Durga and Bepannaah among others.
