Ghaziabad’s Kaushambi police station has busted a big prostitution racket. The police raided this illegal business running under the guise of a spa centre, rescued 9 women and arrested 7 people. Objectionable items, register, diary, QR code scanner and visiting cards have been recovered from the possession of these accused.
How was the action taken at the spa center?
Ghaziabad DP Trans Hindon Nimish Patil said that the police had received information that innocent and poor women were being lured into prostitution in Vaishali Sector 4, adjacent to the Delhi border. On this information, the Kaushambi police team under the leadership of ACP Indirapuram, located at Sriram Plaza, Golden Therapy Center And Mountain Spa and Therapy Center Raided on.
Rescue and arrests
During the raid, the police rescued 9 women from these spa centres. These women were allegedly involved in this illegal activity. 6 men and 1 woman were arrested from the spot.

Exploitation of women and police statement
According to the police, women were coerced and forced into illegal activities in these spa centres. These women were trapped by taking advantage of financial constraints and other compulsions. The rescued women will now be included in the rehabilitation process.
