Pakistan cricket team has recently registered a spectacular victory in the last three test matches on its soil. However, during this period, the bowling of their fast bowlers has been very poor, as they did not take any wicket in all three matches. From this situation it is clear that Pakistan’s pacers have lost their identity even in home conditions, while the spinners have shown their mettle.

Pakistan has defeated England twice and West Indies once in the last three Test matches. Interestingly, all the wickets in all these matches have been taken by spinners or have fallen through run outs. According to the statistics, spinners bowled 97 percent, while fast bowlers bowled only 3 percent. This resulted in the spinners getting all the wickets, while the pacers returned wicketless.

Team spinner Sajid Khan reacted to this and said that when his team plays in countries like Australia, South Africa and England, the fast bowlers get help. “We are taking advantage of our circumstances, just like they do,” he said. But Sajid forgot that Pakistan team was once famous for fast bowling, and now it is losing its identity due to the construction of bad pitches.

With this, the first Test match played between Pakistan and West Indies in Multan became the shortest Test match played in Pakistan in terms of overs. The match ended in just 177.2 overs, meaning it didn’t even last two days. Play was delayed due to bad light on the first day, and the match ended in the second session of the third day. During this period, 40 wickets fell, but no batsman was successful in scoring a century.
