Sagar (Madhya Pradesh): A groom suddenly passed away on Saturday morning in Sagar after his health deteriorated during a wedding ceremony.

The incident occurred after the “Varmala” ceremony on Friday evening, where the bride and groom exchanged garlands in front of their family and friends, creating a joyful atmosphere.

On Saturday morning, during the “Padh Pakhari” ritual, the groom’s condition worsened.

His family rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. It is suspected that he suffered a heart attack.

The groom, Harshit Choubey, had married at a private hotel’s marriage garden in Sagar’s Rajghat Road on Friday evening. His barat had arrived from Jaise Nagar, and the ceremony was attended by relatives and friends, who danced and celebrated.

However, the sudden death of the groom left the entire family in shock, especially the bride, who was devastated. The family later took the body to Jaise Nagar for the funeral.

Harshit had been living in Sagar for several years and ran a medical store in Gopalganj. He was the youngest of his four sisters, and his sudden death has left his family, especially his sisters, in deep grief.

His friends, who were present at the wedding, mentioned that Harshit was happy and smiling during the celebrations, and no one expected such a tragic turn of events.
