To make an Instagram reel, three boys in Kota allegedly stabbed and injured a student returning from coaching classes. The boys uploaded the video of the crime on Instagram with a Punjabi song. The police have detained the miscreants on Friday night.
Udyog Nagar police station incharge Jitendra Singh said – The incident took place in DCM Shriram Rains Factory area. The student, living in Indira Gandhi Colony had gone to coaching class located 3 km away from his home on a bicycle on Friday afternoon. At around 4 pm, while returning home, the accused boys stopped his bicycle in the field in front of the factory and stabbed the student.
The victim told the police that the boys thrashed him and stabbed in his leg. One of them was making a video of this. The miscreants looted the money from the victim as well.
This video of the assault was uploaded on Friday evening by an Instagram ID named Lucky Narwal with a Punjabi song. Later, another post was shared from the same ID. “Absconding” was written in it,
The police said that miscreants have been identified and detained for interrogation.
