Mumbai: Upset at being ignored by ally BJP, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), led by Ajit Pawar, on Friday announced 30 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections.
Prominent names on the list include Khalid Ur Rehman, who will contest from Chandni Chowk and Vishwanath Agarwal, nominated for the New Delhi constituency. The NCP has also unveiled its list of star campaigners. The list features top leaders, including Ajit Pawar, state president Sunil Tatkare, Praful Patel and Faiz Ahmed.
