Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The state government is going to change policies in various departments in a big way before the Global Investors’ Summit (GIS) to be held in Bhopal next month. Before the GIS, the government is all set to bring in 21 policies for 11 departments to encourage investors.
The policies, to be brought in, are connected to the departments concerned with investments in the state. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has handed over the responsibility to Chief Secretary Anurag Jain for making these policies. Jain directed all the departments to prepare policies and present them to the cabinet before the GIS. The Department of Industries is bringing MP Investment Promotion Policy, MP Logistics Policy and MP Export Promotion and ODOP Policy.
Similarly, MSME Department is coming up with the MP MSME Development Policy, MP MSME Land Allotment Policy and MP Startup Policy. The Renewable Energy Department is bringing MP Pump Hydrostorage Policy.
On the other hand, the Department of Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection is coming up with MP Biofuel Promotion Policy and MP City Gas Distribution Policy.
The Department of Science and Technology is coming up with MP Global Capability Centre Policy, MP AVGC –XR Policy, MP Semi-conductor Policy and MP Drone Promotion Policy. Likewise, the Civil Aviation Department is bringing MP Aviation Policy.
Similarly, the department of forest is bringing MP Plantation Policy using CSR/CER and non-governmental funds. The Department of Water Resources and NVDD is bringing MP Operation and Maintenance of Pressurised Pipe Irrigation System on PPP Mode Policy.
The Department of Health and Family Welfare will come up with MP Construction and Operation of Medical Colleges with Augmented Hospitals on PPP Mode Policy. Similarly, the Department of Tourism is coming up with MP Tourism Investment Policy and MP Film Tourism Policy.
