I Love Panchgani Festival: A Glittering Start With Artists And Cultural Delights |
The much-awaited I Love Panchgani Festival will be launched today, marking the beginning of three days of celebration from January 17 to 19. The festival, which has been celebrated annually since 2015, aims to promote tourism, increase local business, and provide new opportunities for the locals. Panchgan-Mahabaleshwar and often referred to as the Kashmir of Maharashtra, has become a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
The event will kick off at 4 PM today with a grand opening ceremony at Sanjeewan Vidyalaya, Panchgani, in the presence of dignitaries. The festival will feature an exciting lineup of activities, including art exhibitions, live bands, dance performances, amusement park attractions, and various food stalls. Additionally, from 10 AM to 5 PM today, visitors can enjoy thrilling paragliding stunts near Ravine Hotel.
Over the next two days, the festival will showcase a Youth Festival, a fashion show, and a range of exciting events. On January 18, attendees can look forward to a ‘Drums Circle’ featuring traditional dhol troupes, as well as a dance performance by the renowned dancer Phulwa Khamkar. The Youth Festival will involve inter-college competitions, creating a lively atmosphere.
The final day of the festival, January 19, will feature a treasure hunt, a tug-of-war game between women and men, and a grand raffle draw. Prizes for the raffle have been displayed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk and have generated a lot of excitement.
