Mahindra has increased the prices of its popular Thar Rocks 5-door by up to 2.86%. Due to this price hike, both petrol and diesel variants have become expensive. However, it is a matter of relief that the price of only one variant of petrol has been increased, while six variants of diesel have become costlier.
There has been no change in the starting prices of Thar Rocks. The entry-level ex-showroom price of the petrol model remains at Rs 12.99 lakh and that of the diesel model at Rs 13.99 lakh. Let’s take a look at the new prices.

Changes in prices of Thar Rocks petrol variants
- There was no change in the prices of MX1 MT, MX3 AT, MX5 MT and MX5 AT.
- The new price of AX7 L AT has become Rs 20.49 lakh, which was earlier Rs 19.99 lakh. That means, now Rs 50,000 more will have to be paid to buy it.

Changes in prices of Thar Rocks diesel variants
- There was no change in the prices of MX1 MT, MX3 MT, MX3 AT, AX3 L MT, MX5 MT, MX5 AT and AX5 L AT.
- The price of MX5 MT 4×4 is now Rs 19.09 lakh, which was earlier Rs 18.79 lakh. That means an increase of Rs 30,000.
- The price of AX5 L AT 4×4 is now Rs 21.09 lakh, which was earlier Rs 20.99 lakh. That means an increase of Rs 10,000.
- The price of AX7 L MT increased from Rs 18.99 lakh to Rs 19.49 lakh. That means an increase of Rs 50,000.
- AX7 L MT 4×4 will now be available at a price of Rs 21.59 lakh, earlier it was Rs 20.99 lakh. That means an increase of Rs 60,000.
- The price of AX7 L AT is now Rs 20.99 lakh, earlier it was Rs 20.49 lakh. That means Rs 50,000 more will have to be paid.
- The new price of AX7 L AT 4×4 becomes Rs 23.09 lakh, which was earlier Rs 22.49 lakh. That means an increase of Rs 60,000.
