But then his career started getting affected. Runs were not coming from Sehwag’s bat. At that time, Indian team captain Sourav Ganguly went to Virender Sehwag and told him that if you do not score runs, I will drop you from the team. But the interesting thing is that after failing in the first test of this series against New Zealand, Sehwag scored a century in the Mohali test match and scored 130 runs. At that time, Virender Sehwag had failed in 9 consecutive innings and did not score even a single half-century with his bat.
