Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): Three youth lost their lives after two speeding motorcycles collided head-on in Jabalpur on Thursday.
The accident occurred in Ghansaur village under the Tilwara police station limits.
According to information, the victims, identified as Laxman Bhavedi, Sandeep Barkade, and Ranjit Kulaste, were on their way to attend the Makar Sankranti fair when the accident occurred.
Laxman and Sandeep were residents of Jodhpur Padao village, while Ranjit hailed from the Seoni district.
The police immediately sent the bodies for postmortem at the Medical College Hospital and have launched an investigation into the matter.
The stretch between Jodhpur Padao and Ghansaur on Charagwan Road is notorious for frequent road accidents, raising concerns over road safety and the need for stricter traffic regulations in the area.
The loss of these young lives has left their families in immense grief and the local community in shock. Many have expressed the need for immediate action to prevent further tragedies on this accident-prone route.
