Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released the fourth list of candidates, on Thursday, January 16. The party fields Shikha Rai from Greater Kailash.

In the fourth list, BJP has released names of 9 candidates that will run for the Delhi assembly elections of 2025 from respective constituencies. One of the key candidate name is Shikha Rai who will be contesting from Greater Kailash region.

The fourth list includes the 9 candidates and their respective constituency they will run from. Here are the names and contesting constituencies: Ravinder Kumar (Indraj) to contest from Bawana (SC) constituency, Poonam Sharma to contest from Wazirpur constituency, Chandan Kumar Choudhary to contest from Sangam Vihar constituency, Shikha Rai to contest from Greater Kailash constituency, Ravikant Ujjain to contest from Trilokpuri (SC) constituency, Sanjay Goyal to contest from Shahdara constituency, Anil Vashishth to contest from Babarpur constituency and Praveen Nimesh to contest from Gokalpur (SC) constituency.

The party had published three lists of candidates, including Satish Upadhayay from Malviya Nagar, Ramesh Bidhuri from Kalkaji, Parvesh Verma from New Delhi, Arvinder Singh Lovely from Gandhi Nagar, and Satish Jain from Chandni Chowk.

The BJP has announced 59 candidates for the Assembly elections consisting of 70 members. The party is expected to nominate Sanjay Goyal from Shahdara, Praveen Nimesh from Gokulpuri, Satish Garg from Wazirpur, and Chandan Chaudhary from Sangam Vihar. The BJP might also announce Bhuwesh Tanwar from Delhi Cantonment.

On Wednesday, the BJP unveiled a roster of 40 prominent campaigners, featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and New Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj among them for the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The BJP seeks to end its 26-year absence from power in Delhi, while the Congress aims to recover its presence after being eliminated in the last two elections.

With free offerings, law and order, education, and governance taking center stage in campaign agendas, the capital is preparing for a fierce electoral battle, with outcomes expected on February 8.

Included are BJP president JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit, Roads and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, along with union ministers such as Piyush Goyal, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Manohar Lal Khattar. To challenge the Poorvanchal narrative, the BJP has announced Ravi Kishan, Nirahua, Manoj Tiwari, Smriti Irani, Anurag Thakur, and Hema Malini.
