Saif Ali Khan was attacked by a burglar at his house last night and he was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital. According to a statement of Dr Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, the actor was brought to the hospital at 3 am by his son Taimur Ali Khan and their caretaker. Earlier, Saif’s team had shared a statement in which they had given a brief about the incident, and now, recently, they have shared a statement in which they have mentioned that the surgery of the actor is done, and he is out of danger.
The statement read, “Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe and the police is investigating the incident. We would like to thank Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Dr. Nitin Dange, Dr Leena Jain and the team at Lilavati hospital. Thank you to all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time.”

Saif Ali Khan will be seen in Siddharth Anand’s production venture Jewel Thief- The Red Sun Chapter. The shooting of the film kickstarted last year, and it is reportedly slated to release this year.
Spirit
A few months ago, there were reports that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be joining Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. While there’s no official announcement about it, reportedly the couple was offered to play the antagonists in the movie.
Race 4
There have been reports that Saif will be returning to the Race franchise with Race 4, and Sidharth Malhotra will be joining him. A report also stated that the shooting of the film will kickstar this month.
A film with Priyadarshan
Last year, there were even reports that Priyadarshan is planning a film with Saif Ali Khan in which he will be seen as a blind man. However, there’s no official announcement or an update about the movie.
