Mumbai – In many films, one of the twin brothers commits a crime and the police catches the other brother. Actually, the police in Nalasopora was trapped in the affair of such twin brothers. One brother committed the robbery but the police caught the other brother.
Vinay Chaurasiyateni, 28, a resident of Nalasopara, along with two female friends came to Achole police station with a strange complaint. He was returning home after celebrating the New Year party and was drunk. He was sitting near the bus stop at Achole intersection. Being drunk, he couldn’t remember what happened next. Meanwhile, someone attacked her and stole her ring, bracelet, cash and mobile phone. As the matter was serious, Achol police registered a case of theft.
The Crime Investigation Branch of Achole police examined the CCTV footage of the incident site. During that time a young man was seen beating him. Vinay Chaurasia recognized him. It was his 18 year old friend Mayank Chauhan. So Vinay told the police that Mayank had attacked and stolen from me. After this Achol police arrested Mayank Chauhan. Vinay was drunk at night. He claimed he got it from me but I didn’t steal it. In such a situation, when the police checked the CCTV before the incident, the attacker appeared suspicious. So the police thought that they had found the real thief.

Eventually, police located and arrested the attack suspect. But, he claimed that what is seen in CCTV is not me. So the police got confused. It was a strange situation that he was seen stealing in CCTV but in reality he was not, the investigation finally revealed this. The real thief who carried out the theft was the twin brother of the suspect, Issam. After this the police investigated and exposed the real thief.
