Shivajinagar MLA Siddharth Shirole Shares Details About Traffic Changes On Pune University Road | Facebook

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Pune’s Shivajinagar, Siddharth Shirole, on Wednesday, shared details about the traffic changes on University Road to facilitate the construction of the multi-level flyover ramp and associated pillar works. These changes have been implemented from January 15 and are on an experimental basis, said Shirole.

For vehicles travelling from Baner to Shivajinagar, Shirole said they must now pass through Aundh and bypass the usual route via Raj Bhavan. A U-turn is to be taken near the designated opening, continuing to the destination via the university’s back road.

Vehicles heading towards Aundh from Shivajinagar will travel straight through the Pune University Circle, proceeding to their destinations via Aundh Road, he added.

Vehicles travelling to Shivajinagar will now pass through the Millennium Gate, past Chaturshringi Police Station, and rejoin University Road via the main gate, the BJP MLA further said.

“I encourage you to share your feedback and suggestions to help us refine these arrangements. Your input will ensure smoother traffic flow and minimize inconvenience during this period. These temporary changes aim to enhance traffic management and ensure efficient movement while the metro and flyover construction is underway in the Shivajinagar area,” Shirole concluded.
