Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh cabinet met on Wednesday and held discussions over several topics to ensure development and welfare of the state.
The state government has set a target to make Madhya Pradesh poverty-free by 2028. Works under the Garib Kalyan Mission will be done more actively to reach every possible poor person.
The state cabinet has decided to increase usage of renewable energy to reduce costs and inspire the public to switch to green sources. Solar power panels will be used in all government buildings and facilities. This work will be done under the PPP (Public-Private Partnership) model.
Similarly, the villages situated in interiors will receive power through solar lights.
The government has decided to expand emergency services Dial 100 in remote areas. Under phase 2 of Dial 100, a new integrated system will be developed at the estimated cost of Rs 1565 crores.
Global Investor Summit on Feb 24
Ahead of the next Global Investor Summit scheduled for February 24, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has directed all departments to do the necessary amendments in their policies so that investors shall not face any kind of problem in doing the investment.
CM Yadav will be on a Japan tour from January 27 till February 1. The visit aims to attract investment in Madhya Pradesh. Last year in November, the chief minister toured the UK and Germany and secured investment proposals at least worth Rs 60,000.
