Suburban services on the Harbor Line were disrupted on Tuesday morning due to a rail fracture reported between Vashi and Mankhurd at around 9:45 a.m. A senior railway official confirmed the incident and stated that the issue was resolved by 10.10 a.m.

Despite the prompt response, passengers reported significant delays due to the cascading effects of the disruption, with trains running behind schedule until the afternoon. The delays caused inconvenience to commuters, many of whom rely on the Harbor Line for daily travel.

The Harbor Line is a vital link in Mumbai’s suburban railway network, connecting South Mumbai to Navi Mumbai and the Navi Mumbai area to the Western suburbs. It serves over 10 lakh passengers daily.
