Mahakumbh 2025: Mahakumbh, which will be held after 12 years, will start from 13th January and continue till 26th February. More than 45 crore devotees are expected to participate in this religious and spiritual event lasting 45 days. According to the Union Ministry of Culture and Tourism, this time more than 15 lakh foreign devotees are expected to come to Mahakumbh.

 

This Mahakumbh is being organized after 12 years.

 

Today is the first Amritsnan of Mahakumbh 2025, which started in Prayagraj on Paush Purnima with bhajan-kirtan and chanting. On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Naga Sadhus from different Akharas take a sacred bath at the Sangam, which is called ‘Amrit Snan’ (royal bath). This Maha Kumbh is being organized after 12 years, although the saints claim that the time of 144 years is a very rare auspicious time for this event, which was created during the churning of the ocean.

Panchayati Nirmal Akhara will take the last nectar bath

Shri Panchayati Naya Udasin Akhara will leave from its cantonment at 12.15 pm and reach the ghat at 1.15 pm. After taking bath for 55 minutes, he will leave the ghat at 2.10 and reach the cantonment at 3.10. After this, it is the turn of Shri Panchayati Akhara Naya Udasin Nirvana, which will leave the cantonment at 1.20 pm and reach the ghat at 2.20 pm. After taking bath here for an hour, he will leave the ghat at 3.20 pm and reach the camp at 4.20 pm. In the end Shri Panchayati Nirmal Akhara will perform Amritasana. The Akhara will leave the cantonment at 2.40 pm and reach the ghat at 3.40 pm. After taking bath for 40 minutes, he will leave the ghat at 4.20 and reach the camp at 5.20.

Naga Sadhus keep reaching Sangam for bathing in Amrit.

On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Naga Sadhus continue to reach the Sangam to take the first bath in Amrit. Among the three Bairagi Akharas, the first All India Shri Panch Nirmohi Ani Akhara will leave its cantonment at 9.40 am and reach the ghat at 10.40 am and after 30 minutes of bath, it will leave the ghat and reach its cantonment at 11.10 am. 12.10 pm. All India Shri Panch Digambar Ani Akhara will leave the camp at 10.20 am and reach the ghat at 11.20 am and after taking bath for 50 minutes will leave the ghat at 12.10 pm and will return to the camp at 1.10 pm. All India Shri Panch Nirvana and Akhara will leave the camp at 11.20 am and reach the ghat at 12.20 pm. After 30 minutes bath, we will return at 12.50 and reach the camp at 1.50.
