Over 350 candidates shortlisted for the UPSC IFS 2024 personality test after Mains results | Representative image
Mumbai: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Monday released the UPSC Indian Forest Service (IFS) Mains 2024 result 2024. Over 350 candidates have cleared the mains round and will be eligible for the personality assessment round (interviews) after document verification.
The UPSC IFS Mains exam was held between November 24 and December 1 last year. Now, the selected candidates need to fill the Detailed Application Form (DAF-II), following which, they will receive an admit card or e-call letter for the interview. The UPSC will soon announce the interview dates.
The selected candidates will undergo training at the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA) in Dehradun. The training involves physical fitness tests, academic sessions, and field training for the roles and responsibilities they will undertake in various Forest Services.
