There is good news for the youth who are dreaming of becoming teachers in Bihar. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the notification of the fourth phase teacher recruitment process. Through this recruitment, appointments will be made on more than 80,000 posts. The Education Minister informed that the application process will start soon on the official website of BPSC.
BPSC TRE 4.0: Key Details
- Number of posts recruited: 80,000+.

TRE 3.0 and PGT Result Update
The wait for the PGT result under the Third Phase Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 3.0) is now coming to an end.
- TGT Exam:
- TGT result under TRE 3.0 has already been released.
- The results of secondary and primary classes have also been declared.
- Result of PGT Exam:
- The result of PGT exam will be declared by BPSC by 22 December 2024.
- Result of some subjects was delayed due to server problem.
Preparation for the fourth phase recruitment process
After the declaration of TRE 3.0 results, BPSC plans to start the process of TRE 4.0.
- Detailed Advertisement:
- Notification of TRE 4.0 will be released by the second week of September 2024.
- Number of vacancies:
- Under the fourth phase, recruitment will be done on 1.60 lakh posts.
- Admit Card:
- Will be released on the official website a few days before the exam.

- CTET:
- Candidates who have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test can apply.
- STET:
- STET is mandatory for appointment to secondary and senior secondary classes.
70th BPSC PCS Exam: Important Information
The 70th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination will be held on 13 December 2024.

- 23 September 2024.
- Application Process:
- Online application started from 28 September 2024.
- Last Date: 4th November 2024.
- Exam Centre:
- Held at 925 centers in 36 districts across Bihar.
- Number of vacancies:
- Initially 1929 vacancies were declared, which was increased to 2035 posts.

TRE 3.0: Answer Key and Result Date
The answer key of TRE 3.0 exam was released on 28th August 2024.
- Candidates were given time to file objections from 2 September 2024 to 5 September 2024.
- The final result of TRE 3.0 will be declared by 26 September 2024.
Update on Exam Normalization by BPSC
BPSC has clarified that this time the normalization process will not be implemented in the examination. The examination will be conducted on the old format only.
