Mahakumbh devotees suffer heart attacks: During the Maha Kumbh Mela that started from today in Prayagraj, 11 devotees suffered heart attacks in the last two days. In which six patients were shifted to the Central Hospital located at the Parade Ground of the fair and five patients were shifted to the Sub Center Hospital in Sector-20. Nine out of 11 patients have recovered. Whereas when the condition of two patients became critical, they were sent to SRN Hospital.
The 10-bed ICU ward of the Central Hospital, which opened at the fair on Sunday, was filled with heart attack patients. Doctors have attributed rain and cold as the reason behind the heart attack. He has advised the devotees to take caution before taking the holy bath in Mahakumbh.

The doctor of Cantonment General Hospital said to take special precautions due to rain and cold. Devotees coming to Mahakumbh should take care of their health along with earning virtue. Wear warm clothes. Don’t dive suddenly for Nahwa. If you feel any symptoms of a heart attack, go to a health camp immediately.
