Yamaha, which is known for its innovative design and powerful technology, is soon coming with another great update in the Indian market. Yamaha FZ-X 150cc motorcycle will now be launched with hybrid technology. This is not the first time Yamaha has used hybrid technology in its bikes. Earlier this technology was seen in Yamaha’s Fascino and Ray ZR scooters.

Apart from this, Yamaha FZ-S will also be updated with new color variants and features. Both these motorcycles are going to be launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

Yamaha FZ-X: Power and performance with hybrid technology

Hybrid technology has now been used in Yamaha FZ-X, due to which this bike will not only be powerful but will also become more fuel-efficient.

Hybrid System and Engine Specifications:

  • Integrated Starter Generator (ISG):
    This feature increases the power output of the bike by providing electric boost.
  • engine:
    • 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine.
    • This engine generates power of 12.4hp and torque of 13.3Nm.
  • Start/Stop Technology:
    • The bike can start without any sound.
    • It is helpful in reducing fuel consumption.

Yamaha FZ-X: Updated features and price

The new Yamaha FZ-X is being introduced with modern technology and attractive features.

  1. Color TFT Display:
    • Smart features like call/notification alerts and music playback controls.
    • Real-time data to provide better rider experience.
  2. New Switchgear:
    • Updated switchgear to easily control all the features of the bike.
  3. Modern Design and Looks:
    • More attractive with body graphics and stylish design.

price:

  • The current model is priced between Rs 1.37 lakh to Rs 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • The price may increase slightly due to updated features and technology.

Yamaha FZ-S: updated with new colors

Yamaha is not only bringing updates to the FZ-X, but the Yamaha FZ-S will also be introduced with new colors and design.

  • New color options:
    • Grey/Cyan color variant, previously seen in MT-15 and MT-03.
  • The FZ-S is being made more stylish and attractive to young riders.
