Road accident victims will get reward: The Central Government has increased the reward amount to Rs. Done. 25000 has been announced. At present these donors are getting Rs 200. Reward of Rs 5000. Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari announced this during a program organized in Pune.
Reward for those who took the injured to hospital
Nitin Gadkari said that the government will give Rs. Reward of Rs 5000. This scheme was launched in October, 2021. So that people are encouraged to help those injured in road accidents. The first hour after the accident is considered to be the golden hour for the injured. In which if the victim is taken to the hospital, his chances of survival increase. Now we have increased this prize money to Rs. Going to do 25000. Whose implementation will be implemented soon.

Under the present scheme, a certificate is given along with the reward money to the person who takes road accident victims to the hospital. Verification is done at multiple levels to ensure that the award goes to the right person. At present, the government has not officially announced how many people it has given the award to.

Some time ago, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had announced the cashless treatment scheme. Under which road accident victims have to be treated within seven days. Financial assistance up to Rs 1.5 lakh is available. If information about a road accident is given to the police within 24 hours, the injured can get the benefit of cashless treatment.
Rs 2 lakh assistance in hit and run cases
In the last one year, 1.80 lakh people have lost their lives in road accidents. In the case of hit and run, the government also announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the families of the deceased. To reduce accidents, the government is giving priority to road safety.
