Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The cars navigated by Rajeev Pathak and Rupesh K Yadav (both from Jabalpur) won the 20th Blind Challenge Car Rally 2025 in the Expert and Novice class respectively. Rajeev and Rupesh are visually-challenged whereas their drivers Rajan Deb and Ramprakash Mishra are sighted.

The second prize was won by the navigator-driver team of Rajesh Khapareya (Betul) and Chitra Manwani in the Expert class and Priyesh Gupta and Ankit Gupta in the Novice class.  The winners received cash prize of Rs 10,000 and the runner-up got Rs 6,000 in both classes.

Organised by Arushi, an organisation for differently-abled children, Governor Mangu Bhai Patel flagged off the rally, Humsafar, from DB City Mall in the city on Sunday. The rally passed through Bhopal Haat, Vyapam, 6 No, Nutan College, 5 No., Char Imli, Link Road 3, Chuna Bhatti, Kaliasot, Bhadbhada, Suraj Nagar, Bharat Mata Chowk and ended at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya  Manav Sangrahalaya.   

In the rally, vehicle was driven by sighted person and the navigator was a blind person. The route map in Braille was given to them on the spot. The navigators for the rally were from across Madhya Pradesh. The rally covered a distance of 30 kilometres within Bhopal municipal limits.

Throughout the route all road safety norms and speed limits were strictly followed as told by event manager Neeraj Gulati from Genius- a Creative group.  In all, 50 vehicles participated in the rally. Rakesh Sharma memorial trophy for most enthusiastic participant was given to Nitin Doshi.
