Vinod Kambli also recalled his playing day at the iconic venue. He said: “I remember I smashed my first double hundred here against England and then went onto score many more hundreds in my career.”
Kambli also advised youngsters to work hard if they dream to play for India. He added, “If anyone wants to play for India like me or Sachin (Tendulkar), then I would advise that you should keep working hard and never leave doing that because that’s what Sachin and me did since our childhood days”
Prithvi Shaw looks to regain fitness
Shaw on the other hand has been going through a difficult time. After being ignored for the Vijay Hazare Trophy in December last year, the 25-year-old opener also went unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction.
Shaw faced criticism for his poor fitness, which has been one of the key factors behind his exclusion and to make a comeback, he has taken a significant step. The opener has started focusing on his fitness and shared some videos on Instagram stories, updating his fans on his progress.
Shaw has not been part of the Indian team for nearly four years and now, he is focusing on making a strong comeback with hard word
