Today is the last date to announce the squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The ICC had set March 12 as the deadline to announce the provisional squad, but so far only two teams, England and New Zealand, have announced their squads. A total of 8 teams are participating in the Champions Trophy, and 6 teams are still yet to announce their squads. The teams which have not announced the squad yet include India, Pakistan, Australia, South Africa, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. It is expected that by the end of the day today all the teams will announce their squads.
Champions Trophy 2025 will start from 19th February. This tournament will be organized on the basis of hybrid model, and India will play all the matches in UAE. A semi-final will also be held in UAE. The final of the tournament will be played on March 9, but the venue has not been decided yet.
The 8 teams participating in the Champions Trophy have been divided into two groups of 4 each. Group A includes India, Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh, while Group B includes Australia, England, South Africa and Afghanistan.
