A terrible accident took place in the early hours of Sunday in Dujana police station area of Badalpur area of Greater Noida. The fire in Shri Balaji Chemical Factory created panic in the entire area. The flames were so strong that a cloud of black smoke covered the sky. The sounds of explosions further increased the panic. The employees working in the factory somehow managed to save their lives by running away. After this incident there was chaos in the surrounding areas.
32 fire engines took charge
As soon as information about the incident was received, 32 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. Fire extinguishing work is continuing on a war footing. Noida DCP Central Shakti Mohan Awasthi said that fire brigade teams are continuously trying to control the fire. However, relief work has become challenging due to the explosions and dense smoke amid the fire.
How did the fire start, investigation continues

25 cows were rescued
25 cows were trapped in the area near the factory. With the help of JCB, the police broke the wall and took out all the cows safely. It is a matter of relief that no casualties have been reported so far.

Fire engines were called from Gautam Buddha Nagar as well as Ghaziabad. After hours of hard work the fire was controlled to a great extent. People in the area were advised to stay indoors due to panic caused by the fire and explosions.
