To strengthen the railway network in Uttar Pradesh Gorakhpur-Badhani-Gonda road Plans are being made to convert it into a double line. The move will improve passenger travel and freight train operations, thereby boosting economic growth in the region.

A proposal has been sent to the Railway Board to successfully implement this project.

History: From meter gauge to broad gauge

   • Daily train to Mumbai Panvale Express.
2. Diversion of Route:
   • In case of block on Gorakhpur-Basti route, trains are diverted to Badhni route.
