Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the notification for the joint entrance examination to be conducted for admission to the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course for the session 2025-27.
- The application process is starting from 11 January 2025.
- This examination will be conducted for 30,000+ seats.
- Interested candidates can apply online by visiting www.deledbihar.com.
Admission Process and Merit List
- Candidates who qualify the exam will get admission in the institutes on the basis of merit list and their choice priority.
- The allotment of institutes will be done under a separate release issued by Bihar Board.
- Candidates who have obtained D.El.Ed Diploma will be able to apply for Primary Level Teacher Recruitment (Class 1-8).
- However, it is mandatory to pass TET.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification:
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) examination with minimum 50% marks.
- Reserved category and physically handicapped candidates will be given 5% relaxation in minimum marks.
- Urdu candidates who have passed Maulvi exam with 50% marks are eligible to apply.
Age Limit:
- The age of the candidate should be at least 17 years as on January 2025.
Qualifying Marks:
- Unreserved Category: 35%.
- Reserved Category: 30%.
Exam Format (120 Marks)
The entrance test will consist of 120 questions, each question carrying 1 mark.
