Posting on the social media platform ‘X’, Chandra Arya wrote, ‘I am running to become the next Prime Minister of Canada to rebuild our country and ensure prosperity for future generations. I am ready to lead such a government. We are facing many problems. Problems not seen for generations. Resolving this will require difficult choices.

Chandra Arya further wrote, ‘I have always worked hard to do the best for the people of Canada. Bold decisions must be taken for the well-being of our children and grandchildren. If I am elected the next leader of the Liberal Party, I can do so using my knowledge and skills.

Who is Canadian Hindu MP Chandra Arya?

Chandra Arya is originally from Karnataka. In May 2022, a video of him delivering a speech in the Canadian Parliament in his mother tongue Kannada went viral. Chandra Arya, who represents the electoral district of Nepean, Ontario in the House of Commons, the lower house of Canada, is from Tumkoot district of Karnataka. He studied Business Management from Kaushal Institute of Management Studies and moved to Canada in 2006. Before entering politics, Arya was the President of the Indo-Canada Ottawa Business Chamber. When he gave a speech in Kannada, many politicians of India shared his video on social media. Chandra Arya has opposed Khalistani terrorists many times.
