While crores of devotees are taking bath in the holy Sangam in the Mahakumbh 2025 organized in Prayagraj, a unique monk from Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, ‘Tea seller’ Has caught everyone’s attention. This monk, known as Dinesh Swaroop Brahmachari, has been giving free coaching to civil service students for the last 40 years by practicing silence and giving up food. Baba’s life is based only on ten cups of tea, and he educates students through WhatsApp.

Unique life of ‘Chaiwale Baba’

Baba’s disciple Rajesh Singh says, “Guruji remains silent and we get guidance through his gestures and WhatsApp messages. Their aim is to make the youth officers.” Baba believes that silent meditation accumulates energy, which he dedicates for the betterment of society.

Devotion to the foreign devotee Pascal

Among the crowd of devotees in Mahakumbh, Pascal of France also remains a topic of discussion. Pascal, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, expressed her happiness by participating in this grand event of Prayagraj. He said, “This holy place is wonderful for the purification of the soul. I met yogis, sadhus and Hindu religious people here and was deeply influenced by their spirituality.”

Mahakumbh’s faith confluence

Mahakumbh, which is organized every 12 years, is being held this time in the presence of more than 45 crore devotees. Devotees take bath at the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati to atone for their sins and wish to attain salvation. Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya, and Vasant Panchami Shahi Snan are the main attractions.

While a great confluence of faith is taking place in this Mahakumbh, inspirational personalities like ‘Chai Wale Baba’ and the devotion of foreign devotee Pascal have made the event more special.
