Mohammad Kaif said, “Jasprit Bumrah becoming the successor of Rohit Sharma is not a good idea. He already faces a lot of pressure in the bowling department. His entire focus should be on bowling and not on the additional responsibility of captaincy. This is why he is getting injured again and again.”
Pant and Rahul considered better options
Kaif said, “I want the responsibility of captaincy to be given to a batsman. Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul have gained captaincy experience in IPL. He is capable of maintaining balance in the team and handling pressure.”
