New State Capital Region (SCR) will be formed in Uttar Pradesh, development will happen by combining 6 districts

The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to develop a new and modern State Capital Region (SCR) on the lines of the National Capital Region (NCR). Under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s scheme, 6 districts including Lucknow have been included in the SCR. This area will be equipped with skyscrapers, metro, apartments, modern infrastructure, and industries. The objective of SCR is not only to accelerate economic and social development but also to give Uttar Pradesh recognition at a global level.

A total area of ​​27,860 square kilometers of these 6 districts has been identified for SCR. After the formation of SCR Development Authority, planned urbanization and development of these districts will be done.
