ICC Ranking: Indian wicketkeeper and batsman Rishabh Pant has gained a lot in the recent ICC rankings. Once again Rishabh Pant has joined the list of top-10 batsmen. Rishabh Pant batted brilliantly in the second innings of the Sydney Test against Australia. Rishabh Pant dropped out of the top-10 list after continuous poor performance against Australia. But now he has made a comeback after the Sydney Test. Now it has reached ninth place in the list. Talking about other Indian players, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has achieved the best rating of his Test career. Jasprit Bumrah tops the bowlers’ list with 908 rating points.

Yashasvi Jaiswal remains at fourth position

However, there has been no change in the top-5 in this ICC ranking announced. England’s Joe Root is at the top in this list. While England’s Harry Brook is in second place with 876 ratings. New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is at third place with 867 ratings. While India’s Yashasvi Jaiswal remains at fourth position with 847 rating. Travis Head, who performed brilliantly in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India, is in fifth place with 772 ratings. In this way, there has been no change in the ranking of the top-5 batsmen.

 

Steve Smith lost one place

Apart from this, South Africa’s Test captain Temba Bavuma has made a huge leap in the rankings. Temba Bavuma has moved to sixth place with a rating of 769. Earlier it was at ninth position. This is its highest ranking and rating till date. Sri Lanka’s Kamendu Mendis has reached seventh position with 759 ratings. However, Australian batsman Steve Smith has lost one place. Talking about other players, New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell remains intact with 725 rating.
