Young Boy Dances On Food Table In Pune Restaurant; Netizens Raise Questions On Parenting After Video Goes Viral | Pravin Shelar

A video of a young boy dancing on the food table of a restaurant has gone viral on social media and gathered a wide range of reactions. Many viewers condemned the performance which showed the kid stepping on the table meant for food service. They disapproved of his behaviour at the eatery, where the boy turned the food table into his dance floor.

In the video, the boy was seen grooving to the trending song ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from Stree 2, which originally captures Tamannaah Bhatia’s sizzling dance moves. Netizens termed the kid’s dance performance on the table, on to a sensual beat, a display of “bad parenting” or “parenting failure”.

“If you want to showcase your sons dancing skills do that on the floor. The table is meant for serving food. This is unhygienic and chappri behaviour at a public space”, said another user while condemning the incident.

The audience was upset with both the song selection and the boy dancing on the table meant for serve food. “Such shame! This is what you teach kids??? The parents need to grow up. Song, dance moves, pathetic”, they wrote.

However, a few people defended the incident and pointed the restaurant staff didn’t intervene or stop the kid from dancing. This suggested they had no objection to him dancing on the dining table.

“As for dancing on the table, he’s a kid! He’s not even wearing shoes. The parents and venue owners clearly didn’t have an issue. That’s real parenting—spending time with your kid and fostering their talents instead of leaving them glued to screens”, a netizen wrote.

“I feel bad for people who are posting hate comments here..!! I will pray that you guys learn to love things and try to be more positive and encouraging towards your own and others lives”, commented another.

While many users called the viral video an instance of “bad parenting”, a few netizens appreciated the kid’s dance performance and called him “Rockstar”. Taking it on a lighthearted note, Instagram users wrote that this little dancer took the classic statement “Chalo beta chacha k samne nach k dekhao (Dance in front of relatives)” to a next level.
