Indian stock market had a great start today i.e. Tuesday. Major indices of the market are seen trading in the green mark. Stock market started on Tuesday.. Stock market opened in positive sign at 9.30 am. Sensex opened 372 points higher at 78,337 points and Nifty opened 138 points higher at 23,754 points. In such a situation, investors are hopeful that some recovery will start in the stock market on the second day of the trading week.

What was the situation in pre-opening?

At 9:15 am, the Sensex opened 359.41 (0.46%) points higher at 78,324.40. At the same time, Nifty 50 was seen trading at 23,750.45 with a gain of 134.40 (0.57%) points. In pre-open trading, Sensex was trading 55 points higher at 78,020, while Nifty was trading at 23,680. Titan Company is among the major rising stocks.

  • Asia-Pacific markets witnessed a rise on Tuesday. This was due to a surge in technology stocks on Wall Street, where the S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed with gains for the second consecutive day.
  • Semiconductor stocks were the top performers. Nvidia shares took a big hit after Foxconn announced record fourth-quarter revenue. This shows strength in the technical field.
  • Shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) reached a record high on Monday. Its effect was also seen on Asian markets.
  • The Nikkei rose 1.70% after Monday’s decline. The Kospi rose 1.14%, with shares of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix up 2% and 1.35%, respectively. The ASX 200 rose 0.2% for the fourth consecutive day.
  • In US markets, the S&P 500 rose 0.55% and the Nasdaq rose 1.24%, but the Dow Jones closed 0.06% lower. This reflects the mixed sentiments of investors.

Increase and decrease in this stock

  • Only three out of 30 BSE Sensex stocks declined in early trade. These include Zomato (down 3.94%), Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors. While Titan (up 1.90%), Nestle India, Power Grid Corp, Tata Steel and IndusInd Bank were the major gainers.
  • Of the 50 Nifty 50 stocks, only five were in the red, including Apollo Hospitals Enterprises (down 0.82%), Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto and Hero MotoCo. Whereas, ONGC (up 3.11%), Tata Consumer Products, Titan, Shriram Finance and BPCL were the top gainers.
  • Besides, all sectoral indices remained in the green except Media index, which declined by 0.58%. Oil & Gas and Consumer Durables indices were the top gainers, rising 1.47% and 1.16%.
  • PSU Bank, Metal, FMCG, IT, Bank and Financial Services indices also witnessed gains.
