Mumbai: Jagadguru Narendracharya Maharaj Sansthan, Kurla West Taluka organized a blood donation camp in Chandivali. A total of 190 units of blood were collected, including 120 at Shivaji Vidyalaya and Bull Market and 70 at Santoshi Mata Temple. Moreover, 128 units were collected in Goregaon East.

As a part of the social activity of ‘Blood Donation Mahayagya’ organized annually by Jagadguru Narendracharya Maharaj Sansthan, a blood donation camp was organised at Shivaji Vidyalaya in Chandivali’s Kajupada area. This camp was inaugurated by the head of Shivaji Vidyalaya Appa Parab.

Blood donation camp was organized at Sai Leela Foundation located in Goregaon East. At this time 128 blood cells were collected. RTI activist Anil Galgali present on this occasion was welcomed by Santosh Narkar, Rashmi Upadhyay, Suchita Narkar, Eknath Gaikwad, Baburao Shinde, Vilas Ghadi and Prabhakar Kake.

Galgali, who was also present at the occasion, praised Gurudev’s foresight in his speech. “Donating blood is truly a great gift, and it provides invaluable assistance to those in need,” he said.

On this occasion, Chandivali’s member of legislative assembly (MLA) Dilip Lande, Dr. Jaywant Gade of Sion Raktapedhi, former corporator Harish Bhadirge and branch chief Chandan Sawant were also present.
