Roast a Variety of Grains

Although roasted gram is easily available in the market, but if you have black gram, you can also roast it using the same method and eat it as a snack. Apart from this, other grains can also be roasted in this manner and used as a healthy snack.

Recipe to make market-like roasted gram

  1. Prepare a mixture of turmeric and salt,
    Take a cup of water and add one teaspoon turmeric and one teaspoon salt and mix well.
  2. soak gram,
    Put gram in a big vessel and add turmeric water in it and soak the gram and leave it for half an hour.
  3. heat salt,
    Add one cup of salt in a pan, ensure that the amount of salt is more than the gram. Heat the salt thoroughly.
  4. add gram,
    Filter the water of soaked gram and add it to hot salt.
  5. fry up,
    Keep stirring the gram on high flame, so that all the gram gets roasted properly. The heat of the salt will cause the chickpeas to pop quickly and become crunchy like market ones.
