Anand Mahindra Shares Video Of Scorpio N’s Making At Chakan Plant On Social Media

Chairman of the Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra on Saturday posted a video of the making of the Scorpio N in Chakan on X.

Mahindra who is very active on social media, posted a video with a caption “The making of the Scorpio N in Chakan. For leisurely Saturday viewing…”.

The video shows a detailed assembly and making of the flagship vehicle of the Mahindra & Mahindra. It features several assembly lines where humans are working, while in other areas, automated robots are used to assemble the vehicles.

Netizens reacted to the video and applauded the process which was shown in an engaging way in the video.

“Describing the Scorpio N as merely “assembled” could undervalue the expertise, labor, and infrastructure required for its production. It is not a kit being pieced together but rather the result of a sophisticated interplay of technology, skilled labor, and strategic sourcing (sic),” wrote one user.

The Scorpio N is a premium, large three-row SUV. Mahindra Scorpio N price starts at ₹ 13.85 Lakh and top model price goes upto ₹ 24.54 Lakh. Scorpio N is offered in 34 variants. The vehicle was made at the Chakan production facility of Mahindra & Mahindra which was opened in 2010.
