Western Railway trains affected due to bridge strengthening work between Siras and Banasthali Niwai stations | Representational Image

Mumbai: To facilitate the replacement of an RCC slab with PSC slab between Siras and Banasthali Niwai stations on the Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur section of Jaipur Division, a block will be undertaken on 12th January 2025. Due to this block, few Western Railway trains will be affected.

According to Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of trains, which are cancelled, short terminated and will short originate are as under:

Cancellation of Trains:

1. Train No. 14802 Indore – Jodhpur Express of 13th January, 2025

2. Train No. 14801 Jodhpur – Indore Express of 11th January, 2025

3. Train No. 12465 Indore – Bhagat Ki Kothi Express of 12th January, 2025

4. Train No. 12466 Bhagat Ki Kothi – Indore Express of 12th January, 2025

Diversion of Trains:

1. Train No. 12979 Bandra Terminus – Jaipur Express of 11th January, 2025 will be diverted via Kota – Chanderia – Ajmer and Jaipur. This train will additionally halt at Chanderiya and Bhilwara.

2. Train No. 09621 Ajmer – Bandra Terminus special of 12th January, 2025 will be diverted via Ajmer – Chanderia – Ratlam. This train will additionally halt at Bhilwara, Chittaurgarh, Nimach and Mandsor.

Short-Termination/ Short Origination of Trains:

1. Train No. 12955 Mumbai Central – Jaipur Express, journey commencing on 11th January, 2025 will short terminate at Sawai Madhopur. Consequently, this train will remain partially cancelled between Sawai Madhopur and Jaipur.

2. Train No. 12956 Jaipur – Mumbai Central, journey commencing on 12th January, 2025 will originate from Sawai Madhopur. Consequently, this train will remain partially cancelled between Jaipur and Sawai Madhopur.
